Terms and Conditions – San Drives

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking driving lessons with San Drives. By booking our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1 Lesson Fees

  • Standard driving lesson: €50 per lesson
  • All prices are in Euros (€) and must be paid before or at the time of the lesson
  • Prices may change without notice, but confirmed bookings honor the original price

1.2 Payment Methods

  • Payment must be received to confirm your booking

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

2.1 Cancellation by Student

  • At least 48 hours notice: Full credit for future lesson or refund
  • Less than 48 hours notice: No refund or credit
  • No-show: Full lesson fee charged, no refund

2.2 Rescheduling

  • You may reschedule with at least 48 hours notice, subject to instructor availability
  • Multiple last-minute cancellations may result in loss of booking privileges

2.3 Cancellation by San Drives

  • We may cancel due to instructor illness, vehicle issues, or weather conditions
  • You will receive full refund or alternative lesson time
  • We are not liable for any additional costs you may incur

3. Driving Lessons

3.1 Eligibility

  • Students must hold a valid learner permit
  • Students must meet the legal requirements for driving in Ireland
  • Students must disclose any medical conditions that may affect driving ability

3.2 Lesson Duration

  • Standard lesson is [specify duration, e.g., 1 hour]
  • Lessons include pickup and drop-off within agreed areas
  • Lessons start and end at agreed times

3.3 EDT Lessons

  • Essential Driver Training (EDT) lessons follow RSA guidelines
  • All 12 EDT lessons must be completed as per RSA requirements
  • EDT certificates issued upon successful completion

4. Car Hire for Driving Tests

4.1 Test Day Services

We provide:

  • Car hire for driving tests
  • Pre-test lessons
  • Pickup and drop-off to test center

4.2 Requirements

  • Full payment required before test day
  • Student must arrive on time
  • Student must bring valid learner permit and test appointment confirmation

4.3 Test Day Cancellations

  • No refund if you cancel on test day
  • Refund available only if you cancel at least 48 hours in advance

5. Student Responsibilities

5.1 During Lessons

Students must:

  • Arrive on time for lessons
  • Bring valid learner permit to every lesson
  • Follow instructor’s directions at all times
  • Behave respectfully and professionally
  • Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Wear appropriate footwear (no flip-flops or high heels)

5.2 Safety

  • Students must inform instructors of any medical conditions or medications
  • Students must follow all road safety rules and regulations
  • Instructors have the right to end a lesson if safety is compromised

6. Instructor Rights

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or terminate lessons if student behavior is inappropriate
  • End a lesson early if student is under the influence of substances
  • Refuse service to students who repeatedly cancel or arrive late
  • No refunds will be given in these circumstances

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Insurance Coverage

  • All vehicles are fully insured for driving instruction
  • Insurance covers students during lessons and tests

7.2 Limitation of Liability

  • San Drives is not liable for test results or outcomes
  • We are not responsible for RSA delays or test cancellations
  • Our liability is limited to the amount of fees paid
  • We are not liable for personal belongings left in vehicles

8. Test Pass Guarantee

  • We do not guarantee you will pass your driving test
  • Test results depend on your skill, practice, and performance on test day
  • Additional lessons may be required based on individual progress

9. Personal Information

  • We collect personal information to provide our services
  • Your information is kept confidential and secure

10. Complaints

  • Complaints should be submitted in writing to [email address]
  • We will respond within 7 business days
  • Our decision on complaints is final

11. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these terms at any time
  • Updated terms will be posted on our website
  • Continued use of our services means you accept the changes
